A Culinary Adventure at Glen Erin at Lancefield

Nestled amidst rolling hills in the beautiful Macedon Ranges of Victoria, Glen Erin at Lancefield is a charming historic property offering 4½ star boutique accommodation. While the heritage and natural attractions ensure it’s an ideal destination for wedding parties, conference groups or anyone looking for an idyllic escape, the culinary delights and country hospitality are yet another reason to make a trip to this renowned corner of Victoria.

The Restaurant

Glen Erin’s Grange Restaurant overlooks picturesque vineyards and offers a range of delectable a la carte dishes, including Mediterranean, Asian and Australian flavours – and sophisticated fusion fare. The restaurant’s outdoor terrace is a popular drawcard in summer, and in the cooler months guests can enjoy a relaxed or romantic dinner inside by a roaring open fireplace.

Produce is sourced locally ensuring a rotating menu of quality, seasonal dishes, all matched with an extensive wine list featuring many wines from our own vineyard. Peruse our menu and wine list for a taste of what’s on offer.

Wedding receptions to remember

At Glen Erin at Lancefield, we specialise in beautiful and distinctive weddings. You might choose to marry in a local church, or our stunning grounds can provide the picture-perfect backdrop for your ceremony. We’ll also help create a truly, memorable reception with the finest food and warm, friendly service.

Our head chef and wedding coordinator can help you create the ideal day, and we’ll tailor the menu to your needs. You can choose, for instance, from a sit-down four-course menu, a buffet menu offering canapés, gourmet antipasto platters, main and dessert, or the increasingly popular cocktail menu, with canapés and mini delights served as your guests meet and mingle. We can even create the perfect wedding cake for your perfect day.

Functions for everyone

Glen Erin at Lancefield has a range of function rooms and we’ll happily help you create just the mood you’re after, be it an intimate dinner, a corporate cocktail affair or formal dinner for up to 180 guests.

We specialise in themed experiences and have created incredible, memorable nights such as a stargazers dinner, where guests dined al fresco on the vineyard lawns and viewed the sky through large diameter telescopes; and a winemaker dinner where guests met and were entertained by our resident winemaker – a hit with wine buffs. Other themes have included music game shows; cook offs with our professional chefs, and murder mystery evenings.

Wonderful wines

With our own vineyard on site, no visit is complete without a trip to our cellar door. The Macedon Ranges produces exceptional cold-climate wines, and highlights of our range include our crisp, light and refreshing Sauvignon Blanc. We also specialise in hearty reds including Cabernet Sauvignon and Shiraz, ideal when curled up by a blazing fire on chilly evenings.

Our wines are available only in the restaurant and at the cellar door, so a visit is a must. The Cellar Door is open 10am to 5pm on weekends or you are more than welcome to bring your group midweek by appointment.
